Skills Board is a web app where a team keeps and shares its AI skills. The official plugin brings that library into an agent: it carries the MCP connection and one skill that explains how to search the library. The directory follows the Agent Plugins standard, so any client that supports it installs the same plugin. Install it, then sign in through your browser.

What is Skills Board?

How is Skills Board different from a public skill catalog?
Public catalogs help you discover what exists. Skills Board captures the smaller set your own team settled on, keeps each entry tied to its original source, and offers more than one way to use a skill across different agents.
Do teammates need to use the same AI agent?
No. Skills Board is built for mixed setups. Everyone starts from the same team entry, then connects an MCP-compatible agent or opens the source, copies a compatible install command, or downloads the latest files as a ZIP.
What can my agent do through MCP?
After you connect Skills Board, an MCP-compatible agent can search team skills and collections, retrieve install commands, and discover public or repository skills. With the right scope, it can save new skills and organize collections. It cannot edit or delete saved skills, install them, or run them.
Does every skill work with every agent?
No. Skills Board keeps the original source visible and offers practical usage choices, but it does not certify universal compatibility. Each teammate should pick the path that fits their agent and inspect the source when needed.
Is Skills Board free?
Yes. The hosted product is free forever, with no trial, credit card, or paid tier. The code is also open source if a team wants to self-host.
Is a saved skill a formal approval or security review?
No. A saved skill is a team's own choice, not a formal security review, approval, or compatibility certification. Teams should inspect the source and apply their own standards.
Will I get the exact version someone on my team used?
Skills Board follows the latest version available from the saved source. It does not pin or preserve historical versions, so the files available now may differ from the version a teammate used earlier.
